Energy & Climate Change

Aligning with the Six Senses brand values, the estate will be re-built with a sustainable focus that will bring environmental benefits to the resort and residences. Building materials will be ethically sourced and renewable energy will be implemented. Heating and cooling sytems will be energy efficient and all on site vehicles will be electric.

Environment & Biodiversity

The estate will capitalise upon the beautiful and diverse environment. On site there is an organic garden that will boast fresh vegetables for cooking and herbs for spa treatments. We are creating a dedicated Earth Lab space to promote conservation and engage guests in interactive workshops and activities, plus there are outdoor trails for biking and hiking.

Resource management

We will utilise rainwater throughout the estate and improve energy efficiency and water quality by developing waste water management systems. We will set a zero food waste target.

Six Senses

Antognolla Resort and Residences is operated by Six Senses Hotels Resorts Spas - a leading international hospitality brand with a focus on sustainability and wellbeing. Latest Initiatives

For the last two decades, Six Senses has been recognised as the hospitality industry’s pioneer of sustainable practices, demonstrating that responsible practices can be successfully wedded to uncompromised high-end facilities. Here are some examples: our architecture and building practices will follow indigenous designs from local architects and artisans. Food comes from local farmers and fishermen. There will be an organic garden to give back to the earth through composting and building healthy soil. The estate has local and non-invasive plant varieties, many of which are fundamental ingredients for the resorts’ restaurants and spa treatments.
