The term la dolce vita, meaning ‘the sweet life’ or ‘the sweetness of life’, gained popularity after Federico Fellini’s eponymous film (La Dolce Vita, 1960). Having evolved from film to lifestyle, la dolce vita signifies a warm embrace of all that we love about the Italian way of living: elegance, culture, family, cuisine, beauty, and leisure time.
