Antognolla: Six Senses Spa

Six Senses Antognolla will truly be a unique country spa in the green heart of Italy, providing a peaceful sanctuary for residents to switch off and rewind. The unrivalled wellness and sustainability brand Six Senses, renowned for its authentic blend of emotional hospitality and crafted experiences, will help guests reconnect with themselves, others, and the world around them.

A luxury resort

The concept of Six Senses Spas is built on a layered approach to wellness that unites a pioneering spirit with treatments that go beyond the ordinary. Neil Jacobs, Chief Executive Officer of Six Senses, maintains that “hospitality is never just about a place to stay. We want our places and spaces to help you reconnect and explore what it means to be mentally, physically, spiritually and emotionally happy."

Reconnection

Reconnection is at the core of the spa. Antognolla will offer guests a chance to switch off from the pressures of fast-paced living and enjoy time with friends, family or just be at one with nature. With Global Wellness Day in June, now more than ever is the perfect time to prioritise your wellbeing and emotional zen.

Our wellness pillars

From the food you eat to the way you sleep and the earth beneath your feet, wellness is integrated into your whole Six Senses experience. We aim to enhance every aspect of your experience, so you feel centered in the present moment, however long your stay. At Antognolla Spa, we want to ensure that signature therapies, locally inspired treatments, alchemy bars, in-house experts and visiting practitioners respond to your needs and take care of you on every step of your wellness journey.

When in Rome, do as the Romans do

Heritage is important to the authentic experience at the Six Senses Spa. With a dedicated team leading the restoration endeavours at Antognolla and other Six Senses Spas across Italy, we wanted to spotlight General Manager Francesca Tozzi in Six Senses Rome.

Returning to her hometown Rome, Francesca became the general manager of the hotel in 2021. Since then, her involvement in preserving Rome’s cultural design of the mythic spa has been crucial. Artfully incorporating the myth of Apollo and Daphne into the design, Francesca comments that “this parallelism with mythology is a poetic reading linked to the theme of well-being and the relationship with nature, especially with water.

A big thank you to Francesca and the team from Six Senses Rome for keeping its architectural design sustainable, practical, authentic, and, of course timeless. We continually strive to emulate this great success in every development strategy at Antognolla’s Six Senses Spa to be enjoyed and appreciated by spa-goers.
