January Round Up
Antognolla welcomes the new year
Italian tradition has it that each year on the eve of the Epiphany, La Befana, a witch of folkloric imagination, jumps on her broomstick and flies around the country bringing sweets to children. To celebrate the coming of La Befana, we grabbed our golf clubs and held a tournament on the 6th of January, bringing our very own Antognolla magic to Umbria.
Soon, the Antognolla Golf Maintenance Building will open its doors and you’ll be able to step onto its earthy terracotta flooring. The building will host offices, a kitchen, changing rooms and a large garage, combining the necessary and practical, with the aesthetic and elegant.
Meanwhile, we welcomed Franco Orlandi, our new Restaurant Manager at La Boiola. He has experience working at some of Italy’s finest restaurants as a maître, restaurant manager and general manager. Being Umbrian himself, he is in a unique position to offer unparalleled local hospitality to our guests.
Our in-house olive oil is ready to taste, and our vineyards are at their final stages of planting. We invite you to join us in a toast to 2023!
